I decided to pick the Eggplant tonight, it was about an inch shy of the 7" it is supposed to be. I have a recipe for Eggplant and Squash Rataotouille. If it turns out edible, I will post the recipe. We also picked a few tomatoes, we also have a few green ones. It looks like a branch on one of the Cherry Tomato plants snapped in half, I left it - hoping that the tomatoes on that will be able to at least start to turn red. ALWAYS SOMETHING.
Inspired by Animal, Vegetable, Miracle and in memory of my grandfather - We are trying out our collective "green thumbs"!
Our goal is to grow some of the salad vegetables that we consume on a daily basis and supplement that with produce from the local farmers markets.
